What is it like to be in a commercial plane crash?

I know this question sounds morbid but has anyone here been on a commercial plane crash and survived to tell about it? What is the experience like? Was it one of your most horrifying experiences in life? Btw, I really dislike plane travel and will only do it out of utmost necessity.
