What's wrong with me SERIOUSLY! Why am I so angry all the time??

First off I had to create this account just to ask this question but its serious. Lately I am getting scared,I woke up screaming profanities at the top of my lungs cursing SOMEONE out???Whatever I was dreaming I don't remember.I have just been so short tempered lately whenever Someone makes eye contact with me I take it as a threat I just clench my fists I want to run up and beat them unconscious until I'm out of breath.Even when someone gets an attitude I am about 1 step from snapping, the sad thing is even if its a woman I DON'T CARE! I feel nothing but hate and rage lately.I have had this whatever it is for the past several years now, I have been able to control it SOMETIMES. It comes and it goes it usually only lasts a few days to a week at a time. It has landed me in jail once.When I was in the Marines my staff Sergeant pulled me aside and said, "There's a fire I see inside you and some day it's going to get you in trouble"!
