I want him so damn bad!?

There is this guy at my school (i am a guy) and I like him. I mean he is cute and funny and sweet and i connect with him on a whole nother level, you know it just feels right. Yeah i know i am 14 and you might think i am "too young" but i am old enough to know what i want and i want him. People say he is gay and he does kind of act like it, but I am not sure. I mean i don't want to make a move, and he be staight and i get called out. I just need closure. A couple of times i felt like he was flirting with me and i flirted a little too but thats it. My question is how do i find out if he is gay without exposing myself?
