Should i call him? PLEASE HELP! I am so sad..?

my bf n I, although dating for 5 months got pretty close (i think*). but now I am home for the summer and since I have been here, we talked every wknd. I love this guy, but when I was leaving he did talk bout us getting distant because we had both gone through a stressful period. To which I asked him to think bout, and let me know if he wanted to break it off but before i left he said he cared too much bout me, and couldnt think of us breaking up. On this thurs, i let him know we never have a decent phone conversation, n wanted to know if anything was wrong, 2 which he replied that i was being silly, that he loved me too but was busy ( I just dont understand alway busy doing wat?) . My last text was 'pls be attentive, when u do get a chance'. Since then i havent heard from him, which made me think that on these wknds i initiate conversation by text or call. I cant barrage him asking wats going on b/c i have already done this.. Inside i know my hearts going to get broken
