Does the fans influencing the ongoing negotiation between Mayweather and Pacquiao?

I have heard and read too many crazy things that is not even suppose to happen.They need us as a paying public more than we need them. They don't even know most of us personally except for those who are being paid as a PR employee. Your opinion PLS.
